The Azzurra Ski School was established in 1979 with the purpose of offering only qualified instructors who have had very successful athletic careers. You'll be skiing with former members of the Italian National Ski Team, outstanding athletes, national ski professors and trainers, mountain guides etc.. They will share whith you their love for the snow and mountains, teaching you their secrets and the latest ski techniques for refining your style. You'll profit from our classes, with limited number of pupils, and private lessons which will enable you to learn faster through a pleasant and stimulating relationship with your instructor.
The Azzurra Ski School has earned more prizes then any other school in Italy and has won fifteen Italian titles for ski schools at the National Ski Instructors Championship.

We are a small and exclusive group of top professional ski instructors with the purpose to give high quality ski lessons, so we have concentrated our activity on private lessons, for pupils of all ages, and on restricted small classes (max. 6 pupils) for our youngest clients. In high season, as during Christmas holidays, it's hard for us to satisfy all the requests, specially for private lessons, but we always try our best ! The most popular course is the one in the morning that last about 4 hours; therefore we suggest it for pupils not too young, who already have a minimal basic knowledge of the ski technique. We dedicate shorter courses for beginners and very little kids in the afternoon. During these hours the temperature is warmer and the lessons are more agreeable for them too. For all children and teenagers that are in good shape and want to fully enjoy the ski-holiday, we organize full day courses with scheduled pleasant stops for lunch at the local mountain refuges. During almost every week we organize our races : one for the morning courses and one for the afternoon courses.
The top level courses are advanced training for skiiers who want to learn or improve the ski racing technique in slalom and giant slalom. They are held by our ski instructors that have been trainers of the best regional ski teams, some of them of the Italian National Ski Team too. Actually four of them, besides teaching in our ski school, work as official trainers of the famous local ski club - "Sci Club Cortina".
Thanks to the qualities of our ski instructors and the wish to offer the maximum professionality to our customers, the Azzurra Cortina Ski School has gained a prestigious position in the italian and international ski world, since the first years of its activity.
